Forwarding your mail to another account

We recommend that you never include confidential or personal information in your webmail. However, it may be practical to share your email. Be selective with the permissions you set.

  1. Go to and log in with your email address and RU password;

  2. In the top right corner, click ‘Options’ and select ‘Create an Inbox Rule’;

  3. In the next screen, select ‘New’;

  4. In the top field, select ‘Apply to all messages’, and in the second field, select ‘Redirect the message to’. If you want, you can select ‘More Options’ to give this rule a name, but this is not obligatory;

  5. Please now fill in which mailbox you want to forward your messages to. Select an address from your Exchange address book, or add an address manually (at ‘To’), and press ‘OK’;

  6. Click ‘Save’, in the following screen, select ‘Yes’;

  7. In the screen after that, select ‘Yes’ again, unless your workflow requires a different solution;

You have now activated an automatic email forward.
