F. Abshari (Nazanin) MA

Nazanin Fatemeh Abshari is an analytical philosopher of science. Their current research is on causal inquiry in the social sciences. More specifically, about evidence for social mechanisms, as researchers use in case studies and mixed methods work. Their aim is to uncover how and in what sense one can speak sensibly about causal mechanisms in the heterogeneous, ever evolving, complex social world. They are also interested in philosophy of language, social ontology, and the logical and metaphysical underpinnings of social constructs.
