R. Akse (Ruben) MSc

Ruben Akse is a PhD candidate at the Methods group of Business Administration at the Nijmegen School of Management. His research is part of the project 'On the Move: Transition towards Sustainable Mobility' that has been granted by NWO.

Public and private actors collaborate to develop and implement mobility innovations. But, this process is often perceived as highly uncertain. My research focuses on how both governments and business deal with their experiences of uncertainty. How do multi-actor interactions and experiences affect the introduction of mobility innovations? And what are ways to improve uncertainty competencies and existing governance approaches towards uncertainty?

Ruben Akse holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering and Management, as well as in Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society.
