I am a Computational Neuroscientist developing a balanced network description of the barrel cortex, with realistic barrel cortex properties to study network activity and behavior under neuromodulation (dopamine, acetylcholine and serotonin). More particularly, through simulations and analytical derivations, I research the effects of neuromodulators on the stability of the balanced state, synchrony, regularity and chaos.
