K.J. Bakker (Koen)

Koen Bakker is Ph.D candidate and lecturer with the Van der Heijden Instituut, a constituent research institute of the Radboud Business Law Institute. Before joining the Van der Heijden Instituut, he completed the master Notarial Law and the Research Master Business & Law, graduating cum laude for both.

Koen's Ph.D research focuses on proxy voting by shareholders and members, focussing on voting rights, the proxy and the position of the actors involved in proxy voting, written from the standpoints of both property law and corporate law.

Additionally, he is involved in other notarial aspects of company law, such as voting, articles of association, shares, and partnerships.

Besides working on his Ph.D, Koen advises and teaches legal practitioners in the area of corporate law.
