Thijs van den Berg is a PhD student since 2026 at the Experimental Psychopathology and Affective Neuroscience (EPAN) lab and VerhagenLab.

Thijs' project aims to uncover decision-making under threat in both people with and without an anxiety disorder through the neuromodulation technique transcranial ultrasound stimulation (TUS).
