Semi-naturalistic environments and how they influence cognitive performance and animal welfare. For that, we use tracking systems to follow animals within complex environments in order to monitor different aspects of their behavior, such as social interactions, physical activity, anxiety, and memory. The goal was to study the long-term impact of these more naturalistic environments, compared to conventional living environments.
