Prof. C.R.L. Boot (Cécile)

My research focus is on organisation and quality of work in elderly care, with specific attention for healthy work and sustainable employability. My endowed position is financed by the Stichting Joannes de Deo, connected to elderly care organisation Kalorama, in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

In addition, I focus on vulnerable groups at the workplace, such as older workers and workers with chronic disease or a low socio economic position. Moreover, I focus on consequences of societal participation in a broader sense, such as combining paid work and informal care giving on sustainable employability.
