J. Borgers MSc (Julia)
Researcher - Organisational Design and Development
Julia Borgers is a PhD candidate and Junior Lecturer in the Organisational Design and Development chair group. In her research, she focuses on the role of sustainability governance mechanisms like standards, codes and management ideas in (re)shaping organisational practices. She is particularly interested in how organisations and individuals within them engage with these outside governance mechanisms in their surrounding ecosystem: what counts as sustainable practice, who gets to decide this, whose voices are heard and what kind of underlying values are drawn upon in interaction processes.
She received a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam, specialising in Digital Business. She obtained her second master's degree in Sustainable Management from Uppsala University.
