I study where, when and why animals move. Animal movement is important to connect ecosystems and maintain biodiversity. Yet, animal movement is restricted by human activity, including land-use change and climate change. In my PhD project, I aim to understand how human activity impacts animal movement and in turn affects ecosystems.
In this project, I use GPS tracking data and computational models. The project is a collaboration between Environmental Science and Data Science.
