I work as a central data steward for the Digital Competence Centre of Radboud University. In this role, I am closely involved in the university-wide development and implementation of research data management. Our team provides second-line support for researchers from all research institutes, where we manage policy, workshops, and the development of new solutions for the management of research data. I am in charge of the development and community management of the institutional data repository, the Radboud Data Repository.

In addition, I obtained my PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences in the field of problem debt in the Netherlands. Based on intensive fieldwork at debt relief organisations and interviews with people with debts, I developed a "debt maelstrom" with which the different dimensions of a debt experience can be understood.

As part of my research master, I conducted research in South Africa, specifically within Orania, an exclusive Afrikaner community.
