My research focuses on "forensic vigilance". This ambiguous term has been in use for several years in the Netherlands to indicate a central competency of forensic psychiatric professionals. It is unclear, however, what this construct really entails, how we can measure forensic vigilance, and how this construct relates to other important constructs and factors in the field of forensic psychiatric care.
