Kathya is an Assistant Professor in the Methodology Department and a member of the Representative Council at the Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University (the Netherlands). She holds degrees in Economics from Universidad Mayor de San Simón and in Business Administration from Universidad Católica Boliviana. She earned both her Master’s and PhD in International Economics and Politics from the University of Grenoble (France).
Has collaborated extensively with global organizations such as the World Health Organization (HRP), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the European Commission, as well as with universities and research institutions across Latin America and Europe.
Her expertise lies in research methodology—quantitative and qualitative—applied to intervention design and evaluation, particularly within health technology assessment, policy analysis, and decision-making.
