Dr R. Costanzo (Raffaele) PhD

With a background in computational neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, I am interested in using brain imaging and machine learning methods to investigate how the brain processes, integrates, and extracts visual, auditory, and proprioceptive information to guide behaviour.

At Foro Italico University of Rome and Fondazione Santa Lucia, I used fMRI (applying MOTUM and surface-based data analysis) to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying visuo-proprioceptive integration during complex motion in ecologically relevant environments.

Currently, at Radboud University, I use Representational Similarity Analysis (RSA) on fMRI data to investigate the shared and independent neural substrates underlying temporal audiovisual integration.

Alongside my main research, I am also involved in applied and clinical projects using EEG to investigate brain function in more translational contexts.
