Dr G.M.M. Coupé (Griet)

As a teacher in academic communication, I support students, PhD candidates and researchers with academic writing and presenting. My expertise lies in translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives, always keeping the target audience in mind.

I teach courses and workshops on writing, presenting, feedback and storytelling to various groups both within and outside the university. I also provide one-to-one guidance on a wide range of communication tasks, from reports and articles to presentations. In doing so, I pay close attention to how content, structure and style work together to create a powerful message.

As the coordinator of the Radboud Writing Lab, I also lead a team of enthusiastic writing coaches. I really enjoy training and mentoring these young people, and I try to embody the coaching role in my leadership style. I strongly believe in dialogic feedback as a way of helping people improve their communication skills.
