The research of Marjolein Dennissen (pronouns: she/her) is situated in the field of critical diversity studies, with a particular focus on diversity management, intersectionality and diversity networks in organizations. Her doctoral dissertation ‘The Herculean task of diversity networks’ focused on the contribution of diversity networks to equality in organizations. She analyzed the functioning of different diversity networks: women’s networks, ethnic minority networks, LGBT networks, disability networks and young employee networks. In her current work she focuses on rethinking diversity management in organizations drawing on critical and intersectional perspectives.
