Teacher - Artificial Intelligence

N. Donselaar MSc (Nils)

My current research as a PhD student under the supervision of Johan Kwisthout is on the complexity theory of probabilistic computations; more generally, I am interested in (mathematical) logic and computation as well. One of the topics I work on is the complexity of approximate inferences in Bayesian networks, aiming amongst other things to link results in this area to the increasingly popular "Predictive Processing" account in (cognitive) neuroscience.

Starting April 2021, my contract as a PhD student will end and I will continue on a three-year teaching contract at the Center for Artificial Intelligence.
