N. van Douwen MSc (Nina)

Nina van Douwen is a PhD candidate in Gender and Diversity at Radboud Social Cultural Research. In her PhD she explores how individuals create change towards gender equality, diversity and inclusion at work - and how people may resist these changes. Her research specifically focuses on the Dutch military in order to better understand how employees may create more diversity and inclusion in such a homogenous and hierarchical organization. She explores these issues of change agency, gender equality, diversity, inclusion, and resistance to change through ethnographic fieldwork.

Nina received her Research Master degree in Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam.
