My academic background spans Political Science and Global Environmental Governance, with a focus on the effectiveness of transnational climate governance and the role of non-state and sub-state actors (e.g., companies and cities). My PhD examined the role of multi-stakeholder partnerships in implementing the 2030 Agenda — reflecting a broader recognition that climate change cannot be addressed in isolation. A central thread of this work was understanding how aspirational goal-setting and governance-through-goals approaches shape the practices of such collaborations.

As a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Manager within the ACHIEVE project, I study the integrity of cooperative climate initiatives addressing mitigation and adaptation in land use sectors. My work focuses particularly on initiatives that engage agriculture within broader food systems, examining the trade-offs that emerge at the intersection of climate action and sustainable development.
