Dr Y.L.L. Feys (Yinthe)

Yinthe Feys is Assistant professor of Criminology at the Faculty of Law at Radboud University. Her research interests include policing (incl. cooperation with police), decision-making processes and victimology. Among others, she studies the nature and interpretation of police work, police discretion and which factors influence certain decisions. Victims' experiences are also included in her research. Although Yinthe's research is mainly qualitative in nature, she also prefers mixed-methods research.

Yinthe is assistant editor of the journal 'European Journal of Policing Studies' and chair of the NIG Colloquium 'Street-level bureaucracy'.
