M. Geenen (Mees) MA

I am a PhD Candidate at the Department of Sociology of Radboud University. My PhD research focuses on the extent, mechanisms and conditionality of the transmission of social networks from parents to their children. Specifically, I investigate the similarities and differences between the networks of parents and their children, how parents transmit their network relations to their children, and how the transmission of network relations influences (adult) children's labour market outcomes.
