Lize Glas’ PhD thesis is entitled: ‘The Theory, Potential and Practice of Procedural Dialogue in the European Convention on Human Rights System’. Also after publication of her thesis, Glas continues to research the European Convention on Human Rights. In addition to writing about what ‘dialogue’ and ‘access to justice’ mean in the context of the Convention system, she researches the procedures of the European Court of Human Rights (e.g. the pilot-judgment procedure, unilateral declarations and third-party interventions). She is further interested in the execution of judgments, reform of the Convention system and the relation of the Court with the Convention states/domestic courts, the Committee of Ministers and the Court of Justice of the EU.
