I am working on my PhD in Educational Neuroscience at the Donders Centre for Cognition (DCC). My project is part of the NeurolabNL consortium, funded by the Dutch National Research Agenda (NWA), which aims at developing research-based optimal learning conditions. In particular, I am interested in how neuroscience can inform how to optimally pre-structure learning material in order to facilitate autonomous (2nd language word) learning.
My background is in Cognitive Psychology (BSc) and Cognitive Neuroscience (MSc) with a specialization in Language and Communication, which I both obtained from Radboud University.
I used to teach the courses Brain and Cognition 1: Introduction (SOW-PSB1BC06E) and Brain for AI (SOW-BKI108) and assist with the lab management for the BCI-EEG lab at the DCC.
