I am motivated to perform research using large sample sizes, adhering to open-science practices and emphasizing the publication of 'null-findings'.

I believe in the unique value of combining topics and methods, adhering with interdisciplinary research. My specific focus lies in the social dimensions of risk-taking and the influential roles of media and marketing

More specifically, I am eager to understand alcohol(-free) drinking behaviour in social contexts, and the role of marketing in this. Furthermore, I am intrigued by the phenomenon of risky challenges on social media platforms, seeking to unravel the psychological and sociocultural factors that drive individuals to participate in such activities. These research interests enable me to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of risk-related phenomena, encompassing both traditional and digital contexts.
