Florian Habermann is currently Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at the Faculty of Management. He received his PhD from the Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt, Germany, in 2020. Afterward, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. He was a visiting scholar at HEC Lausanne, the University of Innsbruck, Deakin University Melbourne, and ECU Perth. He has been pursuing a post-doctoral degree "Habilitation" since 2023 at the Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. He joined Radboud University in November 2023.

Florian's research focus is on how corporate sustainability translates into (i) non-financial reporting behavior and (ii) real effects or impact on society. His methodological expertise is in Quasi-experimental (Diff-in-Diff, RDD) methods. His research has been published in both accounting and ethics journals. Among them is the highly-ranked (Financial Times Top50 List) Journal of Business Ethics.
