I. van Heerden (Ilze) MA

Ilze is a Junior Lecturer and PhD candidate in Strategic Management at the Nijmegen School of Management. Her research focuses on the strategic role of Top Management Teams and Boards of Directors in shaping organizational responses to grand challenges. Originally from South Africa, she obtained her MA in Industrial Sociology from the University of Pretoria in 1999 and her MPhil in Information and Knowledge Management from the University of Stellenbosch in 2017. Prior to her current role she worked as the Chief Analytics Officer for a multinational Fintech.
