Bas van Heerwaarden is a Ph.D. candidate and junior lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at Radboud University. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with specializations in Marketing and International Business, both awarded cum laude by Radboud University. Prior to his doctoral studies, Bas worked as a consultant for non-governmental organizations in the Middle East and North Africa, including UNICEF, Global Communities, and the Danish Refugee Council.
His dissertation research explores how multinational enterprises address societal grand challenges through corporate social innovation. He focuses in particular on the dynamics and effectiveness of partnerships designed to create both commercial and societal value. Alongside his research, Bas coordinates and teaches courses on ethics, sustainability, and international strategy.
