Prof. Ad Hermus is an internist who specializes in endocrinology: the diseases of the hormone-producing organs. The research conducted by his department is focused on the pathology and therapy of endocrine tumours and on the endocrine and metabolic factors in cardiovascular diseases. In terms of patient care, Prof. Hermus specializes in the diseases of adrenal, thyroid and pituitary glands.
