Dr. Nathalie Hoekstra currently works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Behavioural Science Institute. She works on a longitudinal project that has been following emerging adults from the moment they were 1,5 years old. She is interested in emerging adults' peer relationships as well as the link between early social and academic predictors and various outcomes in emerging adulthood.
She obtained her PhD in 2025 with a dissertation on the role of teachers in classroom social dynamics in elementary school.
