In the "Futures of Language" research project, I critically examine how human-"AI" interactions both instantiate and shape our ways of knowing, feeling, and imagining. I seek to take part in dismantling tech-solutionism, reclaiming our ((techno)linguistic) futures from corporate monopolization, and opening space for convivial, pluriversal, and desirable futures.

Drawing on Decolonial Multisensory Ethnography, Multimodal Interaction Analysis, and Phenomenology, I develop the framework of Critical Phenomenology of Interaction. CPI is a renewed approach to understanding and confronting oppressive power dynamics permeating everyday social interactions. It is firmly grounded in empirical data of the lived experiences of individuals within their everyday realities.

My work is firmly grounded in anti-colonialism, anti-capitalism, and anti-technofeudalism.
