Sanne Jongeling has been a PhD candidate in the department of Public Administration since May 2021. She conducts research into monitoring public services, and in particular municipal monitoring of the youth healthcare system. How does the municipality maintain an overview of the youth domain through monitoring, without losing sight on the complexity and context of the (implementation of) care? How can numerical data be linked to the story behind the figures and how can this information be used in the further transformation of the youth healthcare system?
Sanne studied at Radboud University from 2014 to 2021. During this period she obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology, a policy master's degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Public Administration, with a specialization in Public Management. The quantitative background from Sociology and the qualitative background from Public Administration are interwoven in the central issue of the PhD research; connecting the numerical data with the story behind the numbers.
