Noah Koch is a PhD candidate at the Criminal Law and Criminology department and the Research Centre for State & Law (SteR) since 2026. He specialises in criminal liability for sexual offences and conducts research into consent within Dutch criminal law. Noah graduated cum laude with a Master's degree in Criminal Law (Radboud University) and Legal Research (University of Groningen). During his studies, he worked as a clerk at the Court of Appeal in Den Bosch and as a student assistant and a teaching and research fellow at the Criminal Law department of Radboud University. He also did an internship at the Scientific Bureau of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and obtained his Certificate of Proficiency Law at the University of Canterbury (New Zealand).
