Gerben Koers is a PhD candidate at Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. His research explores how can we make climate services that inform decision-making processes again pluvial flooding more usable? To this end the project employs an Actor-Network Theory perspective in order to better understand the concept of usability and the contextual factors that affect it.
Gerben Koers has a background in spatial planning (BA Technische Planologie, University of Groningen, the Netherlands) in combination with climate adaptation (MA Environmental & Infrastructure Planning, University of Groningen, the Netherlands) and water management (MA Water & Coastal Management, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany).
