Joy Koopman is a PhD candidate at the Radboud Institute for Culture and History (RICH) and the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures. She is currently working on her PhD project ‘Metamodern Reading in the EFL Classroom’. For this project, her key research interests are EFL literature education, citizenship education, reading promotion and Metamodernism.
Joy holds an MA in Literary Studies from Radboud University and previously studied English Language and Culture at Radboud University and the University of Sheffield.
