Anne-Wil Kramer is a postdoctoral researcher at Radboud University, affiliated with the Adaptive Learning Lab at the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI) and with NOLAI, the National Education Lab AI. She has a background in cognitive neuropsychology and earned her PhD at the University of Amsterdam on what motivates young people to invest cognitive effort. Within NOLAI she works on TAICo (Teacher AI Complementarity), an EU funded project on collaboration between teachers and AI. Her research examines how AI changes teachers’ work and which tasks and skills remain the same, shift, or newly emerge. Anne-Wil combines fundamental research on motivation and self regulation in learning with practical applications of AI in the classroom and works closely with companies and societal organisations.
