Eleonora Kyriakou is a PhD candidate at the Geography, Planning and Environment Department. The focus of her research is on differentiated policy implementation in the EU. More specifically, she looks at how subnational authorities in selected member states deal with EU environmental requirements and how they respond to problems related to local implementation. The project is part of the multidisciplinary research group EUROPAL.
Eleonora holds a BA in Political Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR), an MA in European Politics from the University of Cyprus (CY), and an MSc in International Public Management and Policy from Erasmus University Rotterdam (NL).
