Kristina Lauche's research draws on practice approaches to understand how people address complex problems that require interorganizational collaboration and how they engage in issue selling to pursue organisational or field-level change. She has investigated such processes in the context of new product development, sustainability, healthcare, and creative industries.

2019 - 2023 'Embracing ‘Industry 4.0’? Change agents and open digital technology implementation' is a joint research project between the IMR and the HAN University of Applied Sciences. The project investigatse change agents’ practices on open technology implementation around digitisation.
2018 - 2019 The ORCERIS (Opportunity Recognition and exploitation in a Circular Economy for Regional Innovation Schemes) project aims at increasing the success rate of new business ideas for the circular economy and raw materials. Through workshops local businesses and entrepreneurs are supported in identifying new business opportunities tailored to strengths and needs of their region (Hungary and Slovakia). More information
2013 - 2017 The Future Value Chains of Architectural Services (FuturA) project investigated new roles of architects and governance models for architectural services in the value networks between architectural firms, their clients and other stakeholders in the field. The project was funded by NWO. More information
2012 - 2016 The TOV project addressed the mainstreaming of sustainability practices in new product development within organisations and with their partners from the value network. Based on longitudinal case studies in four multinational companies and their respective ecosystems, two tools for making portfolio decision and orchestrating initiating and orchestrating collaborations have been developed.
