I hold a Masters in Public Policy from University Malaya (2016), where my main thesis was on the provision of social housing in Malaysia, with a special emphasis on legislation, public administration, and public participation. At the same time, I was also involved coordinating in nation building activities for a religious institution.

I also hold a Masters in Christian Ministry from Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (2024), with a focus on Christian theology, church history, and biblical studies in the chosen subjects of study. While pursuing this degree, I taught classes in a Christian institution on Christian teachings.

My current research is to understand how the returning exiles from Babylon understood the concept of homeland as they rebuilt Yehud. My supervisors are prof. dr. Carly L. Crouch (lead) and dr. Seth Bledsoe.

Research theme
  • The Concept of “Homeland” in Post-Exilic Yehud
