I am currently studying social-ecological interactions in informal settlements in Indonesia as a part of the RISE project (https://www.ru.nl/en/research/research-projects/resilient-indonesian-slums-envisioned-rise). In this project I focus on developing an interdisciplinary theoretical framework, in particular using assemblage theory, to study floods, water quality, and waste management in three cities in Indonesia. My prior work has focused on drinking water quality governance and planning in Senegal and vulnerability to groundwater contamination in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
