Dr K.J.L. de Meyst (Karen)

I am an Assistant Professor in Accounting at the department of Economics and Business Economics at Radboud University. I obtained my PhD in Business Economics with a specialization in Management Accounting in 2017 from KU Leuven in Belgium. From 2017-2021, I worked as an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Miami University. In my research, I examine how the accounting profession and accounting education are affected by digitalization and calls for enhanced sustainability. Further, I focus on healthcare accounting. As a research method, I mainly use experiments, surveys, and interviews.
