My research is focused on the criticism of naturalism formulated by phenomenologists Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger. To understand their criticism, it is important to know what both thinkers mean by 'nature', and how they envision the relation between philosophy and science. I use these insights to develop a new, critical attitude towards the contemporary project of 'Naturalizing phenomenology'.
