See also: www.tinemolendijk.nl. Prof Dr Tine Molendijk is an anthropologist who examines human experiences in war and military operations. This includes (award-winning) research on violence, political practices surrounding military intervention, societal perspectives on the armed forces, military culture, morality in war, PTSD and moral injury. To gain a comprehensive understanding of these complex issues, she combines insights from philosophy, psychology, anthropology and political science. Tine Molendijk is Professor by special appointment of Moral dilemmas of multilateral military operations. This chair is established with the support of the NLDA Faculty of Military Sciences of the Netherlands Defence Academy by making the appointed professor available.
