Layla is an empirical researcher, educational psychologist and spiritual counselor specialized in the connection between mental health and meaning in life in education and healthcare. She is currently conducting research into meaning in life, mental health and personhood development of adolescents in secondary education. As a researcher she is affiliated with the KASKI research institute of the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies.
