Mobility hubs may support the transition to a sustainable mobility system. However, the implementation of these mobility hubs is characterised by uncertainty, such as conflicting and changing objectives, lack of knowledge about the effects of mobility hubs on mobility behaviour, or the lack of clear business cases or governance models. My PhD research aims to shift from the 'what' to the 'how' by developing, applying and testing new participatory and adaptive methods to cope with these uncertainties.
