I’m a philosopher and cognitive scientist specialising in artificial intelligence and cognitive neuroscience. My present research is on: the ethics of artificial intelligence; the nature of episodic memory and the use of mnemonics; and the understanding of mind in embodied, enactive cognition terms. I'm also interested in the epistemology of eXplainable AI (XAI); the role of gender in AI/robotics; and neurophenomenology.
