I am a member of the Language in Interaction consortium.
I use behavioural and electrophysiological methods to understand the neural bases of language in neurotypical and neurological populations. I am especially interested in the intersection between language and other functions, such as attentional control, (semantic) memory, and motor control in the case of speaking.
At Radboud University and Radboud University Medical Centre, I work with a number of patient populations, such as stroke, brain tumour, and neurodegenerative disorders. One of my goals is to better understand language function in neurological populations in order to develop novel diagnostic tools and methods to improve language capacity in these patients.
