Rahul is a Ph.D. Researcher researching the ecosystem aspects of Commercialising University-born Radical Innovations at the Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University, the Netherlands.
Rahul's research (interests) include innovations, the economics of entrepreneurship and innovation, co-creation, appropriation and equitable distribution of innovation gains, SMEs, and corporate governance and the aim is to yield findings that can have implications for better management of firms, economic development and well-being, and policy. He has also contributed to research which focuses on the financialisation of U.S., U.K., and German (innovative) enterprises through programmes such as 'Governing Financialisation, Innovation and Productivity' (GoFinPro) at the SOAS University of London and Sustainable Development such as 'Responsible and Sustainable Port Innovation and Development Along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road' at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
Rahul holds an M.Sc. degree in Management of Technology and has specialised in Economics and Finance from the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management at TU Delft, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kerala (India).
He is also an experienced Project Manager who has worked in the O&G industry and has contributed to the successful delivery of many complex offshore engineering projects and has added efficiency by streamlining offshore operations via process innovations.
