Tully Rector works on problems at the intersection of political and moral philosophy. He is particularly focused on the structure of economic power relations, and the role of law in their constitution. Related research interests include topics in the philosophy of action, environmental philosophy, axiology, and critical theory.
Prior to joining the faculty at Radboud, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Ethics Institute at Utrecht University. He has been a visiting scholar at Princeton University, and a research fellow at the Exzellenzcluster SCRIPTS--Contestations of the Liberal Script, at Freie Universitaet Berlin. He received his PhD in Philosophy from Freie Universitaet Berlin in 2019.
