I am a PhD candidate and lecturer at the Behavioural Science Institute. My research focuses on so-called emotional synchrony. It entails that people in social settings tend to experience similar emotions to those around them at simultaneous moments in time. This happens rhythmically and spontaneously, and it seems to be timed. During my PhD project, I investigate the function of emotional synchronization between people and how it plays a role throughout life.
Aside from my research, I am a lecturer in the bachelor's programme in Psychology. The courses I teach focus on research methods, statistics, and research skills.
