D. Renjaän (David) MSc
Teacher - Developmental Psychology
David Renjaän is a PhD candidate and lecturer in psychology. He conducts his doctoral research at the Social Development research group of the Behavioural Science Institute.
David's research focuses on emotional development, with an emphasis on how people attune their emotions to one another within various primary relationships. He studies how this process unfolds in early relationships between parents and children, and how it later emerges in other relationships, such as those with romantic partners. Additionally, he focuses on the question of how this process contributes to socio-emotional functioning across the lifespan.
Aside from his research, David is involved as a lecturer in the methods and statistics courses within the bachelor's program in Psychology.
