Dr M. Santos Wessel (Mairieli)

Mairieli Wessel is an Assistant Professor at the Software Science Group of the Institute for Computing and Information Sciences (iCIS) of the Faculty of Science.

In 2021, she completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME) of the University of São Paulo (USP). Mairieli researchs the intersections of Software Engineering (SE) and Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW). Currently, she is working on the use of bots to support Open Source Software (OSS) communities. She is interested in Open Source Software, Human Aspects of Software Engineering, Empirical Software Engineering, and Mining Software Repositories techniques.
